Sometimes making your quiet time with God more intentional has less to do with doing more and more to do with slowing down.

I’m guilty of feeling like time with God only “counts” if I read enough, journal enough, pray long enough, or have some big takeaway at the end. But spending time with Him isn’t another task to accomplish.

Create a space you want to stay in.
Stop measuring the time by how much you get done.
And most importantly, make it a conversation, not just a routine.

Maybe snail mail is becoming a trend. Maybe there are more mail clubs than ever before. And honestly, that’s okay.

Because this has never been about simply sending pretty paper through the mail.

I started Ink of Devotion to create intentional moments with God, to encourage someone to slow down, open their Bible, pray, reflect, and build rhythms that continue long after the envelope is opened.

If a piece of mail can help someone spend even a few more minutes with Jesus, that’s something I’ll never stop believing is worthwhile.

Trends will come and go. Algorithms will change. But the need for encouragement, for stillness, for God’s Word, and for genuine community will always remain.

So I’ll keep creating, I’ll keep writing, and I’ll keep praying over every month’s mail. And I’ll keep believing that God can use something as simple as an envelope to draw someone closer to Him.

Because at the end of the day, the envelope isn’t the destination - it’s just the invitation🤍
